Que trata de las 2000 palabras más usadas en inglés.
La lección que veremos hoy es sobre algunas palabras comunes en inglés. Cuando se estudia un idioma extranjero, el vocabulario es esencial. Para la lección de hoy elegí tres verbos (y algunas construcciones verbales con los verbos ‘hear‘ y ‘join‘). Practicaremos con muchos ejemplos. Vamos a ampliar nuestro vocabulario con las siguientes palabras:
- hear – oír, entender
- hear back – tener una respuesta, tener respuesta
- hear about – enterarse de, saber lo de, oír lo de
- hear [somebody] out – escuchar lo que tenga que decir
- hear of [something] – enterarse de, saber de
- hear [something] from [somebody] – enterarse por, saber por
- hear talk of [something] – oír rumores de
- hear nothing – no saber nada, no tener noticias, no oír nada
- improve – mejorar
- join – unir, juntar, unirse, reunirse, participar, inscribirse, apuntarse, ingresar
- join in – unirse, participar
- join forces – unir fuerzas
